The salt used is 100% natural, medical grade and drug free. The procedure is delivered over a period of sessions through Newmarket Equine Salt Therapy System, which is innovative in the equine therapy field and is the only medically certified controlled device on the market. The system allows microscopic particles of salt to be dispersed into the air. The tiny particles are inhaled deep into the lungs where the greatest healing can be achieved, aiding mucus release and reducing inflammation within the airways for easier breathing. What To Expect
At your salt therapy treatment
We visit you at your yard with our mobile unit and treatment takes place in your horses stable, to ensure they are fully relaxed. We do advise for your horses not to be worked an hour before or after the treatment. We always begin with 3 sessions over 3 consecutive days (this may need to be 5 sessions, over 5 consecutive days for more deep seated issues). Subsequent sessions are typically on a one off to-up basis.
Treatment time - Approximately 20 minutes.
Cost - £50.00 per treatment. For example, your first treatments (3), would be £150.00 per horse.

After just three days of treatment my daughter's pony was transformed. She struggles with her breathing around the beginning of June every year and this year was no different. She had a wheezy cough, laboured breathing and very low energy. I saw a salt therapy post on Facebook that night and thought it was worth a try; previously we had helped her with a product from the vet. I cannot believe the change which occurred as a result of the salt therapy. After months of veterinary treatment for a chronic lung infection and cough, a number of scopes, antibiotics and emergency trip to the equine hospital, we finally beat the infection to be told my pony was asthmatic and would need to go on inhalers. I decided not to do that and instead, tried salt therapy. Skye began with a 5 day treatment and her breathing on a daily basis with no coughing. We have now had 2 treatments, a fortnight apart, and I am very happy with the results rom a totally natural treatment. Skye's breathing is much better and she is feeling fab in herself.
